I actually incorporate the "too many people talking to the picture" factor into my decision making process when choosing a theatre. For example, if my friends want to go see a movie that I believe will most certainly suck, I usually make certain we all wind up at the Magic Johnson Theaters in Harlem. There, people talk to the picture constantly, and a lot of what is said is really damn funny. Conversely, if I think a movie will be really good – and I don't want any distractions – I'll usually go downtown where people keep quiet. To date, none of my friends seem to have discerned my diabolically evil scheme.

I actually scope out the obvious talkers before I find my seat in the theater. Spider-Man 3 was a pain to deal with though. Everyone wanted to bring young kids. The ones that shouldn't be there. I actually found a decent seat, and then this family I tried to avoid in the first place moved right behind me. Commentary from kids as well as adults is annoying. Venom was the monster. Atleast that's what the young girl behind me claimed. I ended up with a new seat before the end of the film.

LOL.... That whole scenario paints a funny picture. One of the best times I ever had seeing a movie was Cradle 2 the Grave, with DMX – who can't act to save his life. The movie was terrible, but the audience was so damn funny in the way they picked the move apart, I literally had tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard. Picking the right movie at the Magic Johnson is a total trip.

Sorry for the thread drift folks.

Life is essentially one long Benny Hill skit punctuated by the occasional Anne Frank moment.

I guess I've been living under a rock. I've never heard of alluc.org before. Looks like a cool site. Thanks for sharing this info.

Not me. Didn't watch the first and the idea of sequals doesn't appeal to me so I'm skipping on this one.

Thanks for the tip, if i ever reach NY....... i will be sure to go

really hope 28 weeks later is as good as 28 days later. loved the first film but i think i'll wait til it's on dvd. hate cinemas. £8 to see afilm that in six months I can rent and watch at home again and again, take a piss when i want and then copy it all for £2.50???? I think if i go to a cinema again it will be to watch the audience as quinn suggests

the first one snuck up on me, and i liked it. Hopefully this one will continue where the last one left off even with the increased attention.
