1979 Ford Pinto
This baby demanded respect, and sported an inline four cylinder engine with a four speed automatic transmission, ventless door windows, high back, slim line bucket seats, all vinyl upolstery, 2 pod intrument cluster; glovebox, intertior dome light, and Direct-Aire Ventilation system. The previous owner (immigrant Mexican) customized it with a Glass Pack exhaust, moon roof, custom 9 inch rims, and a Direct-Aire Ventilation system assist package, commonly known as tinted windows.
When challenged by other motorists, this one of a kind machine would lunge passengers forward into the dashboard and seat backs with an impressive negative 2 G's of force, as it instantaneously bogged down and decelerated as you rammed the pedal to the metal. At the full service pump, other motorists were awe-struck by this ominous machine emerging from it's cloud of engine oil smoke, as I requested with my head held high "Fill her up with oil, trasmission fluid, power steering fluid, and ... oh yeah ... check the gas."

We're all very different people. We're not Watusi, we're not Spartans, we're Americans. With a capital "A", huh? And you know what that means? Do you? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world!

Current car is a silver Volvo S60, which I recently bought for the move to Georgia. So far as the nicest car I’ve ever owned is concerned, it would be one of the Volvos or Porsches that I’ve owned. I’m not really enough of a car guy to make the call.

Though driving a comfortably tall Saturn VUE these days, I think my fave of all my cars was my first 1966 Caddy Fleetwood 75 Formal Limousine (Similar to the ones shown, though both of mine were black). '66 was the first year that the limos took on the straight line styling (The 65 limos held over the tailfin style of the 64 models) and it was a great style until they ruined the model in 1977. Seated four very comfortably, nine if you used the jumps, and twelve if you were obsessively friendly with your fellow passengers. The ride was incredibly smooth, considering the weight of the car. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it had the standard commercial interior of grey cloth and vinyl headliner in the rear compartment. The high-end version had the Brougham interior with the velvety headliner and patterned upholstery.
*Sigh* I really miss that car. I wonder if the cops still have it.

My second favorite was my corvette which was completely paid for when I traded it in on my present car.
