T-Girl Movie. The Real Deal
I'm a somewhat Hollywood film industry insider. I have been interested in a transgender based film for quite a while. I know the subject has been bravely used and at times very well. What I'm thinking is an honest, actual representation of a genuine transgender, passable T-girl. It's amazing how there are so many woman with a penis who could make the most securely straight man not think twice about making love to them. It's a movie that should be made. Who could be a star in it. I have never met a T-girl, but I have my choices. Who do you think, english speaking and I'm sorry, might possibly be the one. Really, the perfect girl to show the world.

I actually could see Allanah in a comedy. I think that a comedy might help some people who are uncomfortable the idea of transexuals. But an idea would be to find a character close to their personality type, so that they dont have to be the greatest actress. Vicki Ricther or Vaniity would be my second choices. Ana from Miami is very beautiful, but she rarely photographs with broad smiles or anything. So I see her in a serious role which could invovle some kind of deception. In fact she was involved in a deception which made the tabloids, so you could run with that idea to a fuller length concept.
So a lot of it would depend on the idea or a story line. Are you at the stage where you have film treatments?

I have optioned (leased) a somewhat realistic script, but I know there is no one besides a t-girl who could pull it off genuinely. If I had to go the acting route, I would not even consider. The acting doesn't have to be Brando like, but I need a girl who can not think about the difference

I don't understand the concept; There are already transsexual actresses!
There have also been several movies dealing with transgender issues.

if you are talking drama. All the girls have had l lot of drama in thier lives. You have a large untapped pool to work with, provided that you can convince people about the legitimacy of your project.
Back in the eighties, a TS magazine advertised for a film project called "Vera" and actually had open audtions, for which the mag had pictures of. The project featuring a TS women never materialized and a lot of people were disappointed. But it was eventually optioned off to Brazil where they made the movie with the same title, but featured a female to transitioned to male in the film. I saw ads for it.
But this is a dfferent era and you have a lot more communiction options your disposal. Another question is do you want a pre-op or post to play the part? There are some fantastic post ops too.

Seems that I recall a male pulling it off quite nicely in the Crying Game

Anything would be better than Felicity Huffman making herself look terrible and trying to sound like a man. Anything.
