New Girl here, and an Industry type question

Hello everyone! I just joined here, but I have been lurking for quite awhile and I think this forum is pretty rad.

My name is Claire. For the longest time, I have just been a run of the mill local-type transgirl. Lately though, I've been considering getting into the nakedness industry to avoid starving to death because 1: Food is good 2: I'm crazy like that 3: I suck at pretty much everything other than being naked.

One of my questions is for the other girls here:
Where in the world do I start?
Are there some resources I should know about?

I mean, I don't even know if I am porn quality; but I really want to explore the possibility. I have done alot of amateur public nudes and they are usually received better than other people I know who post in the same places.

The thing is, those audiences are usually of a very alternative/queer/younger generation, so I imagine they are alot more open to alternative-looking, non-pornstar types.

Which I imagine is where I'd end up. Crazy, young, artistic, pierced, opinionated, etc.
Is there room for a girl like me?


Is there even a market for trans alternaporn? (A question kind of directed toward the boys)

I guess suicidegirls would be the closest thing to what I am thinking of, except with more girldick.



And a question for everyone else:
Where do you host images to post on this forum?

Hi Claire, and welcome.

I like your take on life already.

If you want to post a pic here, open the post message box and scroll down from the box you type in where there are 2 more boxes, one saying filename. Hit browse and navigate to the picture file on your hard drive. If you want to add more images hit "Add Attachment" and another couple of boxes come up, allowing you to repeat the process. You can add up to 3 images per post.

You can also hotlink to an image hosted elsewhere just by adding the code yo your post, but most people use the first method.

Do we know each other? seriously, I had the same questions when I started out working. My immediate advice would be to do work that feels consistent with who you are, but don't feel wedded to the idea of being alternative.

If you are looking for a quick easy buck, probably best to find a different schtick as queerish gals are less in demand than their straight counterparts. If you are looking to build something that could be financially beneficial overtime, I think the market (for punk/queer/goth/pierced Tgirls) is growing and will be quite lucrative. weird to talk about alternative culture being lucrative, but thats what we are talking about.

You've landed in a good resource area for some decent industry advice. The gurls will give you some experienced hand-holding and Seanchai, Wendy, Allanah and others can give you a head's up from the production end.
