Go to the Power Exchange. It's open till 4 AM, and all kinds of stuff goes on there -- it's for men, women, and everything else. (No gay men, though -- there's a separate club upstairs for them). Lots of t-girls go to PE, especially late at night. I think they get in for free or at a reduced rate. I haven't been there for years, but Thursday night used to be more of a night for t-girls, while Sat. & Sunday had more guys (straight), couples, S&M people, etc. People walk around naked and in various stages of undress.

Anyway, unlike Diva's, which is also worth going to, no soliciting is tolerated. At least that's the way it was couple of years ago. I've had encounters with several t-girls at PE, and never got asked for $. That wasn't the case at Divas. In fact, I've seen TG escorts at PE giving it away for free.

There's one section of PE that is very dark where a lot of crossdressers and t-girls hang out, give blow jobs, get blow jobs, etc. You can also connect with someone there and go to a private room. I went to Power Exchange quite a few times when I lived in SF. That place really is wild. I remember there was an area where the asian t-girls would hang out and they would grab you and fondle you as you walked by - if they liked you.

Yes, that's the thing about PE -- you really need to be something of an exhibitionist. There are a few rooms you can go in and lock the door, and it you go into a corner of the room, it's hard for people to see you. But by and large, you have to be comfortable being watched (or watching). Fortunately, I don't mind being watched.

There are also other places besides Diva's. One of the clubs -- South of Market, I think -- has a "Tranny Tuesdays" or something like that. If you look in one of the free gay or alternative newspapers, or the "Spectator" (available at adult bookstores), you can find some listings of different events. It's been awhile since I've been to SF, so there may be some new stuff going on that I'm not aware of.
