Has anyone seen the episode titled A Soldier's Secret on A&E TV? The story is about a solider who dates a tgirl but is killed after he accused as being "gay". What I found interesting about this story is that they refer to his relationship with his girl as a gay relationship. 'Ya beat me to it. I saw Soldier's Girl awhile ago on cable. Good flick and worth seeing. I'll leave it at that so not to spoil it. Keep a look out for it as it will probably be shown again.

Yeah sounds like that, but in the movie I really didn't feel he was killed for dating a TG as much as his murderer was just a psychopath!

According the documentary, the investigation considered this "a hate crime" because Barry was repeatedly taunted about his relationship by being called "a faggot".

I saw the movie sometime ago. It was really well done, but very, very sad. I cannot understand why love has to have any boundaries at all.

yeah that's true but dude was the very reason he even met her---he introduced him to the club. Both those guys were demented. I think the fact that Barry(?) was dating a TS was very minor, and a crutch used to justify the act. The fact is dude was mental.
