For example, the Miriam sticky topic has fallen off my radar lately. But please don't get me wrong. I truly wish that girl all the best. But the vibe of the whole thread has just bummed me out. And God knows my opinion is as worthless as anyone else's could be. As I told Seanchai, there's so little anyone can offer in a horrible situation like that one, other than speculation and empathy.

And I have absolutely no interest (none, zilch, nada) whatsoever in glancing at the Politics and Religion forum. I have my own ever-evolving, eclectic spirituality which call Arianna-ism. It's like a cross between atheism and agnosticism, with liberal doses of Subgenius doctrine and other practical stuff. And, btw, I'm generally apolitical too. The only movements I fully support are internal, and of the bowel-variety. Anything else, to me, is just someone else's noisy flatulance. :P

But how 'bout y'all? What topics here do you find to be not unlike watching paint dry?
Arianna....though we dont agree often I will agree that I've grown a little tired of some of the bullshit topics on here lately. There are a few spicy ones every now and then but compared to the way it used to be its not that great anymore. This has become more of a chat room now.

I tend to avoid most topics where anyone is grandstanding about anything. Usually it's a bunch of nonsense. I like this board, but I don't think we can say that it honestly contributes to healthier communication, particularly between men and the transgendered.

That being said, I DO make exceptions for one kind of thread- the male-bashing, "TS admirer/Tranny Chaser" rants that pop up now and again. They're usually rooted in wrath rather than reason and it friggin' irritates me to no end when somebody bashes someone else's sexual preference/identity/fetish, what have you.......... There's often a whole Demonize or Idolize gestalt here that is polarizing and every group (although clearly not all or even most of the posters), whatever their gender, sex, or identity contribute to this clusterf*ck equally. So at least, we are an egalitarian community in that sense: we've each got our representative morons and rational thinkers.

Oh, and I like to look at the porn pics.

I am really not a fan of your couple of previous avatar pictures, glad to see your pretty face instead of your butt for a change....

Or is it a rite of Arianna-ism to moon the vieweing audience? If so, sorry, don't mean to make fun of your religion...
Wendy, I quite agree! Ari, that is a great pic.

As for what threads I ignore, it's any that are rediculously repetitive: whether "who is this girl" "am I gay" "who has the biggest" (all of which are incredibly dull) to those which start out very engaging but fall off into drivel or worse.

Arianna, loving the hair, but really loving
    the smile, its infectious.

    What do I avoid.

Dick pics, am I gay threads, and
    endless, needless flaming threads.

I also avoid threads that are going to turn
my mind into apple sauce, and have me
    doing the Thorazine shuffle.

Though from time to time I may peek my head in
on one just to see if there is any thing that I need
    to know about.

    Threads that I Usually Ignore

There are several posters with their posts that turn one's mind to mush, the latest being JHottie.

Do you think the sky is blue?

Do you think Jessica Alba eats Corn Flakes?

Do you think I ever ask thought-provoking questions?

Too many to even mention. More often than not its not only the stupidest topic I tend not to bother with but moreover, the poster who's got nothing much upstairs (his/her head) creating such retarded topics. Unless ofcourse, someone said something remotely interesting in such a thread that I might counter post/reply. Otherwise, I just ignore shallow topics like "Am I gay?" or "Did you eat or poop today?" type of threads.
