    Cold Beer.
The wetness settles down any pollen left in back out mouth.
The cold soothes sore throats and sinus.
The alchol numbs the nerves which usually re-irritate themselves.

Would suggest something clean and crisp and non-American. Becks is a good bet as is Stella Artois.
    seanchai

Alternatively, go to the beach - no pollen there - bring the beer with you!

I'd have to agree, beer is indeed a cure-all for nearly any ailment or infliction.

The only side effects I've ever encountered are occasional problems near the end of the night involving gravity and common sense, but ya can't have everything.

Hey, at least I don't have allergies.

I take loratadine (generic Claritin), Minor Bluegreen Dragon Formula (Chinese herbs), acupuncture, and as seanchai suggests some liberal libation at times (there are some very fine microbrews here in New England, which >>almost<< rival the best real ales in the UK, which have been my favorites for 25 years: do you know these, seanchai? Caledonia Cream Ale, Wadworth's Ushers Ruby and 6x?). Unfortunately, New England beaches are a) too cold this time of year, and b) still riddled with pollen unless a sea breeze is blowing onshore (which, again, is too cold this time of year).

I'll have an American beer, Budweiser or Bud Light. If I got allergies I'll blow my nose.

i've tried claritin, claritin d, allegra, nadelcon, drixoral, tylenol allergy, bottomline is when you have an allergy attack none of that shit works, best thing I ever bought was Nasaline, they sell it at Duane Reade; it's a nasal rinse that works by you holding the extremely large bottle of saline solution to your nostril and flushing out the junk...........
$12 and I forgot how much for the refills
