I know it's a bit off topic, but please comment more on the distinctions between Spain and Portugal. I have always found this curious how these regions developed into two separate countries. I will be working in southwestern Spain next year and plan to visit both countries.

In Milan for the summer, perhaps? Lots of the girls go back to Brazil for winter, European winters are too chilly for their hot little Brazilian hearts.

Good luck chasing a particular girl across Europe, if you're tempted BTW--some of them move around a lot. However, for the man who appreciates women there are many diverting side-benefits to such a pursuit.......

As a portuguese I see no major difference between the two peoples. culturally you can classify Portugal as "fado" and Spain as "Flamenco", being Flamenco a passionate and rhythmic and Fado a portuguese musical genre that ranges from melancholic (mostly) to comedic, differences I think dont transpose to the people itself, portuguese people are generally well disposed, warm and welcoming.

As for the way they separated, in the beginning there was only the spanish kingdom in the north of the peninsula, while the rest was taken over by Moors. For his bravery in the crusades, the Spanish king awarded Dom Henrique a small piece of land called the "Portucalense County", which later Dom Henrique's son, Dom Afonso Henriques got independence for.

From there to the south Portugal's territory was taken from the moors as was spannish territory.

there were still minor frontier disputes between spanish and portugues but the boundaries have remained essencially the same (altough Portugal has been under spanish domain for 100 year due to lack of a sucessor).

I think that nowadays the two peoples are essentially equal, altough we portuguese feel a stronger connection with the brasilian, due to the language mainly

oh dear Mcshreach! That site has just been closed down by the carabinieri!

And yes, second that. The girls move around al lot. Lots come to Germany and move from town to town every other week or so. Most go to Hamburg, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Berlin and Frankfurt. Even more go to Italy and Spain. Guess it's where the money is.

    HOT DANG! Zap that sucker!

Prostitution is legal in Italy but the "advertisement and promotion" of it is not, so from time to time the cops have a clean-up. I've seen quite a few Italian sites--some of them very classy and expensive-looking--bite the dust over the years.

Those interested in trans-whoring in Italy can still get a lot of info from www.distintas.net Since this is not in Italy, the local cops have, um, no jurisdiction. The internet is nice, isn't it?
