    Default Downloading music, best service?

I am tired of buying whole cd's for one or two songs, and would rather buy songs and then burn my own cd's.(old school) I do not have an ipod or MP3, and would like to find a service that doesn't lock me into one or the other if I decide to go that route later. What's the most versatile, simple (for an old fart) and economical music download service to go with?

If you´re looking for whole albums, then google the name of the artist, the name of the album and the word rapidshare. Downloading time is about 2-3 minutes

A very good site is www.maxalbums.com........... just type in the name of the artist and enjoy.

But if you want to go on the old school-way, I suggest www.emule.de (also in English), Limewire or Soulseek.

    Hi all,

I wonder if someone could kindly recommend a favoured CD to be used as an introduction into the Trance music scene?

I've built up a collection of electronic music by artists such as Suzanne Ciani, Edgar Froese, Jean Michel Jarre, Kitaro, Robert Miles, Robert Schroeder, Klause Schultz, Mark Shreeve, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Yello and many others.

I'm looking into the possibility of expanding my collection into new areas. Trance perhaps?

As I'm writing this I'm listening to non-stop Trance music from the Digitally Imported Internet Radio on my Windows Media Player and I find that I really do like it. Check it out for yourselves here, http://www.di.fm/

    Hi Avenged01,

Many thanks for the link which I've had a quick look at. It definitely seems to be the business.

I've also searched on http://www.play.com and they list a bewildering number of trance CDs. My head hurts.
