    Enough...You've implied that one must be involved in combat to be a veteran. That's false. It also denigrates the service of all the soldiers who sat on the 38th parallel or the plains of central Germany, manned bombers on alert, or served on ships or subs, all confronting the enemies of the US, never involved in a shooting conflict.
