I was w/ TV's/CD's for vanilla sex way back when, but these days I only fool around w/ them as subs, and that's rare. Once their dick gets visible and hard a lot of the appeal is gone for me. (unless they're so feminine their appearance offsets it. ) The type of bondage/S&M I do with them generally involves humiliation and them giving me head. (I let them jack-off if they've been a good little girl.)
W/ a TS/TG it's more a regular straight-up boyfriend/girlfriend type of relationship. If they're pre-op,I prefer "non-functional" to use the terms of the sex trade. (If I was looking for a throbbing hard dick,I'd go find a man.) However as I once told a TG girlfriend who could get hard,"We'll find a way to work around that thing." If I like 'em the occasional boner isn't a problem.

From The Advocate, May 25, 1999 by Lisa Meyer
"VIOLENCE AGAINST THE TRANSGENDERED IS WIDESPREAD, BRUTAL--AND OFTEN UNNOTICED
In November, about a month after 21-year-old Matthew Shepherd was pistol-whipped and lashed to a fence on a rural Wyoming road in subfreezing temperatures, Rita Hester, a 34-year-old transgendered woman in Allston, Mass., was stabbed some 20 times in the chest. Just before New Year's Eve, Vianna Faye Williams, a 36-year-old preoperative transsexual in Jersey City, N.J., was stabbed nine times in her back, neck, and chest. In January, Donald Fuller, an 18-year-old cross-dresser who went by the name Lauryn Paige, was found stabbed with his throat cut in a patch of woods in Austin. In February, Houston police reported that an unknown man wearing women's clothing was shot several times in a motel parking lot. In March, Tracey Thompson, a 33-year-old transgendered woman, was beaten on a Georgia country road.
All died."
An older article it is true, but things have not improved.

Miss Araujo was brutally murdered after she had sex with her killer. Although her killer claimed that he was unaware of her status at the time of the act, this is frankly hard to believe and IMHO was part of a "gender panic" defence.
There is other evidence that transgender women have been attacked after sex in circumstances where the man must have known: the implication is that the men involved suffered a violent guilt reaction to what they had just done and took it out on the girl. In other cases the issue appears to be peer pressure-- when the man finds out his friends know the girl is trans, he kills her to save face. This is what I personally believe happened to Miss Araujo.
Straight men are dangerous for transwomen, and it ain't funny.

The California Senate passed the “Gwen Araujo Justice for Victims Act” on
Wednesday, August 30, 2006, sending the measure to Gov. Arnold
Schwarzenegger for his consideration.
The bill, authored by Assemblymember Sally Lieber, a Democrat and
sponsored by Equality California, directs the Office of Emergency
Services to create training materials for district attorneys on the use of
bias-motivated defense strategies in criminal trials.
The measure also requires the Judicial Council to adopt a jury instruction
telling jurors not to consider bias against people because of sexual
orientation, gender identity or other factors in rendering a verdict.
The bill was named in honor of Gwen Araujo, a transgender teen
murdered in Newark, Calif., in 2002. Araujo was beaten to death by four
men she met at a party who had discovered she was transgender.
In support of this, the Judiciary Committee cited FBI figures that there
have been more than 113,000 hate crimes since 1991, including 7,163 in
1995. It said that racially motivated bias accounted for 55 percent of
those incidents, religious bias for 17 percent, sexual orientation bias for
14 percent and ethnicity bias for 14 percent.

I will be supplementing these figures as I obtain them.
