Shit, I grew up poor. As poor as anyone in New Orleans. I went through the Northridge and Whittier Narrows earthquakes WITHOUT WARNING.

Reading your post I can quickly see that you haven't been around very many minorities for any period of time, have you? And, please -- PLEASE -- don't compare the horror of what happened in New Orleans and that region (death and destruction), to 10,000 air commuters being stranded temporarily at an airport.
