I've always wondered why no-one has ever made a film or tv series that included explicit sex scenes but as part of the entirety of the script. Let's say FRIENDS for instance. Only instead of leaving those moments of sexual tension and breaking them by someone walking in the room the people actually get it on. Or BOSTON LEGAL where someone walks in Shatners office and he is getting a blow job from one of the secretaries, explicitly photographed. People DO have have and it seems to me that usually TV and FILM leave it as innuendo and titilliation rather than showing it full frontal.

If you haven't seen it, check out "The Brown Bunny" with Vincent Gallo, it features a full-on blow job and the film "Intimacy" with Kerry Fox, another one with a blow-job that's available from Blockbusters. In both films the hard sex is a part of the story and isn''t there for cheap titillation.

I have been wondering myself where the ts films with actual plot are. There must be a market for it even if it is only small.
I had a film called "Transsexual Transylvanians". It wasn't brilliantly done but the idea of at least trying to link sex scenes with a flimsy plot was there.
Maybe part of the problem is that acting isn't a strong talent amongst some tgirl pornstars. Often you see fluffed lines even in the small bits of dialogue in the films we see.
Although, I guess the main motivator is supply/demand. Many guys only want the sex scenes and as many for their money as they can get.
I'd prefer more plot.

Interesting posts from all. I think this really is a subject worth examining more, but unfortunately this is one of the rare days where I have actual work to do at work.

As far as why there aren't explicit sex scenes in TV shows, have you been to the U.S.? There were Congressional hearings when Janet Jackson's breast made a 1/2 second appearance during the Super Bowl halftime show. A certain vocal part of the U.S. population thinks the shows we have now have too much sex and violence; you'll never see any more sex than we have now.

I totally agree with the current US mindset regarding anything explicit on most TV, but you will notice cable TV is getting much more open to sex, so that's a positive.

Caleigh made an interesting post about sex in video games. It has happened but it's never really been done well, in my opinion. I'm working with a couple of coder guys on a game of my own right now, and sex will be a factor in it. A truely erotic game has yet to be made though.

Maybe that will be my next project. Of course, we've got a bazillion lines of code to script right now, I think I need a bigger staff.

One of my favorites is called "My Brother is a Shemale". Now the brother, as far as I can tell isn't a shemale in the video. It's in another language (Italian I think) and i think the title was screwed up in translation to english.

I have said more than once in other threads that there should be TS movies with a plot and be more soft core. The goal would be to be shown on a Playboy channel or similar medium. A lot of guys on here are more hard core of course, but I feel that those movies could reach a wider audience. My thought is to release the movie in two versions; one without the hardcore sex.

There is a segment of people who enjoy TG fiction. They don't need pictures of cocks for there enjoyment; its all imagination of scenarios. A softer core movie might attract that segment.
