It is really dangerous for a foreign go to certain places alone mainly at night.
But I think in many countries the same happens. Even in europe !

You are right gepetto it is late and i´m sure brazilian are tired to be asked for the security situation in brazil,especially Rio and SP.
Thought i´m asking because here in germany you hear of the gang violance,dozens of dead in shootings with the police in summer 2006.

And you are right there are places foreigners shouldn´t go even in germany.

Would it be safe for a foreigner where you live in R.Augusta and environs?
