    Default Tijuana

    Hey All,

Anyone have any experience with Tijuana? I have thought about heading down there just to check it out.

I would appreciate it if someone who has experience going down there would like to help show me the ropes some time, because I know you can get screwed and in alot of trouble if you do not know what you are doing, and it does not help thant I know very little spanish.

    Tobie

P.S. I have been checking out the Board lately, if anyone has any questions about the Los Angeles, San Diego areas, I can pretty much help ya, or point you in the right direction.

P.S.S. I wish I could make it out to one of your parties Alannah, but my offer to help you fund a party in LA or LV is still good.

    Hey guys -

I'm in San Diego and have hit the TJ scene a few times. I've always gone with buddies that don't know about my particular interests in t-girls so I never hit one that was 100% ts - but if you have a good eye you can spot them mixed in with the other girls. And not beacuase they're not passable - there are a lot of gorgeous never-before-seen t-girls down there. I think I was at the Adelita bar or Club Chicago where I saw a few last time. It's true though that if you ask around you may be able to find a place that specializes in only t-girls. The trick with Tiajuana is not to get too wasted. Then your bait for everyone. And don't bring 100s of dollars - you won't need it. Take a cab from the border - $5 - hit the strip - and it's like all of a sudden you're in another country. Oh wait it is another country.

Hey Hollywood - Madeline in SD?? We might have something in common if it's the same Madeline I know.

Adelite bar is on the main street and had a few. If you are up for an adventure try the Noa Noa bar. It is all TS' but it is not a gringo hang out. I will try to find directions.

IMO, there is a serious need for talented t-girls in San Diego.

The last time I checked, there weren't many ads listed on Eros. There are only a handful of ladies that have been working central San Diego for the last 10 years. I think that shows that it's possible to live and work in San Diego.

In the San Diego Eros ad, that would be Carol whose worked San Diego for 10 years. And maybe ditto for Diana, Venus, Dorian and Mimi.

Katherine and Cindy have been doing San Diego full time for maybe 5 or 6 years, I'm pretty sure.

And then there's Vivian. In her Eros ad she says she's 24 years old. I'm not 1000% sure about this, but I thought I visited Vivian at her apartment about 10 years ago. And back then she sure didn't look like she was 14 or 15 years old! This was when she was running an ad in one of the local publications that they used to sell at all of the local adult entertainment stores.

Back to the message at hand: We have some of the best weather in the country. Oftentimes in the winter it's 70 degrees. Plus we have the beaches, including beautiful Black's Beach, San Diego's one and only nude beach. San Diego really is just like paradise.

I suspect someone out there might say that the ladies of Tijuana with their way-low prices are too much competition for the San Diego t-girl. I don't think that's true anymore, as Tijuana city officals closed down a few of the more popular t-girl bars that were located right in the heart of Tijuana's tourist zone.

10 years ago I threw all of my stuff in the back of a U-Haul and made the long drive down to San Diego. I had only been here once before, for a brief 2 day stay. As much as I love northern California, and I do love northern California, moving to San Diego was one of the best things I ever did to improve the quality of my life. So c'mon ladies, think about moving out here to paradise!

2 yrs ago when on tour my friend kept a journal. This is what she wrote about our day in Tijuana.

Before departing San Diego, we decided to spend the day In Tijuana Mexico. So, we packed our car, and headed to the border.

We had heard a load of warnings about all of the pitfalls that we might face there. As usual, we had to check it out for our selves. LOL We were told it was safest to park on the USA side. We parked our car, and then on foot, we walked across the border into Tijuana Mexico, and into the arms of another culture.

We were just a few hundred feet from the US, but it seemed so far away. It was like a different world. The Mexican police, that I have heard so much about, were on street corners. It was a very depressed area, many buildings with the paint completely weathered away, dusty, broken windows and poverty. You could tell you were not in the US anymore.

The streets were packed with people. There were lines of street vendors, and people selling anything you can think of. Some had small shops, some were just on foot. It seemed like they depended on the cash flow of the US tourists. From jewelry, pottery, purses, to trinkets and all kinds of other cute stuff. There was a pharmacy everywhere you looked. No prescription needed, you just walked right in and told them what you wanted. Everything dirt CHEEP.

We bought so much stuff. In and out of several shops, and passing many vendors. All waiting and eager, calling the "blonde ladies" over to show us what they had for sale. They would come running up to us. Trying to sell something, or to get us in their restaurant, all trying to make a buck. We had to barter with them.

They were waiting for the "dumb tourist". Example, Julie bought a necklace for $20 US dollars that the Mexican man wanted $80 US dollars for. When he told her the price she said, "do I look like that much of a tourist"? She told him she would give him $20, and wanting the sale he finally gave in. I bought a lot of stuff, with the same bartering technique. Silver jewelry, pottery, and some glassware. Now we figured it was time to see more of Tijuana, not just the tourist square.

We walked to the street, as several cab drivers all asking us if we wanted a ride. We jumped in one and asked him to take us to another part of town. Then we realized he did not speak a word of English, LOL. So we had him take us to a shopping mall. We went in for about a half hour, and had him wait out side. Then we came back out side and had him bring us back to the tourist square, the language barrier was too hard. We were getting hungry.

We walked to a row of restaurants, all calling us over. We found a nice place, and got table,. Ordered 2 margaritas, and some food. As we ate, kids would come up to the table and hold out Dixie cups for change. Vendors would come buy selling things. Then a man came by drawing portraits, so we figured why not. We had our portrait drawn while we had a late lunch. That we later lost some where during our second trip to Los Angeles.

Several hours and margaritas later, we made friends with two American men sitting at the table next to us. Julie gets a bit crazy with a few drinks in her, so as I talked and shared beers with one of the American men she had a crowd of the Mexican men around the table. The Mexican men all calling her Julia, LOL. The owner of the restaurant gave us two rounds on the house.

We heard about `Revolution' Avenue, where the shops, buildings and entire area is abuzz with people and activity. We did not know our way around and needed some assistance. We met with another cab diver, who spoke broken English, we asked him to give us a tour….a real tour of Tijuana. We paid him $25 US dollars per hour to take us here and there.

He took us to the areas that many US tourists probably don't see every day. Past, very poverty stricken areas. Farmers rode by on bicycles with crates of fruit strapped to the backs of them. Then he took us past where he lived, which was one of the nicer areas of the city. I'm sure he wanted to show us success in Tijuana also. We asked him of the seedier parts of Tijuana also.

We were in ahh as he pulled down one street lined with working girls on the sidewalks. We past auto body shops and cigarette stores and up to a non descript building amongst them. He parked in front of a bar, where an older lady in her 50's was out front by the doorway, and music could be heard from inside. He got out, chatted with her a bit and she came over and invited us in. Her name was Maria and she led us into a darkened bar with a juke box and scattered tables and couches.

No men except the bar tender. Only women, about twenty or so in small groups chatting, looking up and some smiled as we came in. We ordered drinks and soon realized it was a working bar. Then Maria led in 2 American men and some of the girls lined up. It looked as if it was right out of a movie. The girls stood there in a row, all trying to catch the eyes of gentlemen, hoping they would be the one picked. She asked them to choose one. We realized the cab driver must be trying to shock us and having a good time at the expense of the American senioritas. LOL

One guy looked over the young Mexican ladies, and turned to us and said we looked good to him. He then pointed at Julie and said he'd like her LOL. Julie a bit surprised, suggested he better just negotiate over there with Maria. We giggled and moved to a back table out of the limelight. We watched the girls line up for various guys that Maria would lead in, be selected, then disappear behind a curtain or up the stairwell to rooms above the bar.

Pretty soon Maria came over to chat. Seems she is the Madam and the cabby hadn't just brought us to any bar, but a whore house in Tijuana. Complete with upstairs rooms, and most things for a price. Maria was cordule to us and bought us a drink.

We left the bar and made our way back to the border. The border guards checked our IDs and we made it through customs with our trinkets and souvenirs without a hitch and back to US soil. It was so nice to be back home in our own country, and a little more thankful for the things we do have.

Our trip into Mexico was definately memorable and one of the best times on the trip. It will be hard to top this one. Mexico and maybe even Maria's bar are definitely on my itinerary for future travels. LOL. We found none of the bad attitudes or trouble that we'd been warned so much about. I can see where it would be easy to find trouble if one weren't careful but we found the people we met and the overall experience very fun and exciting.

Unfortunatly, not knowing what to expect, we left our camera back in California, so we dont have any pictures of Mexico.
