Ooh, Taking of Pelham 123. The movie was good, but didn't do the book justice. Godey (A pen name) really did his homework as to the technical details of the NYCTA.

my favorite scene from a movie: GOODFELLOWS
Robert Deniro potraying Jimmy Burke, the actual person who organanized the JKF Luthansia 1972 $8 million robbery, the largest cash heist in history.
Jimmy meets up with his henchman at his bar at Ozone Park and freaks out when they've all spent their money on fancy cars and hookers. Everything he specifically instructed them not to do in order to avoid LE suspicion.
the next day, he has them all killed. and that's exactly the way it happened in real life.
