AsianShemales: gone forever? Anyone heard anything?

I'd always enjoyed the AsianShemales family of sites. Design-wise, the sites were a ramshackle Web 1.0 mess, which probably made a lot of potential subscribers wary, but I thought the content itself was great - their series of handjob videos in particular was something I wish more sites would emulate, and a strong presence in the Philippines made for some entertaining interviews from models with an excellent grasp of English.

I checked in on the site three times this year. I'd known that they'd suspended production operations due to COVID, but I was disappointed upon my first visit to see that they'd closed down new membership altogether. The sites still seemed to be fully hosted, and I emailed the webmaster to let them know I'd be happy to subscribe via Paypal or whatever if a full-blown payment processor was no longer an option, but I never heard back.

The second time I visited, there was a notice soliciting buyers for the site. The third time, the domain had expired. Consequently, I wanted to check in here to see whether anyone had heard anything about the future of the site or its content.

For my part, I just think it would be a shame to lose all of the unique content those sites provided. If Grooby, LadyboyGold, or one of the other big trans movers and shakers purchased and folded those videos into one of their sites, I'd sign up in a heartbeat. I know one dude isn't going to influence the business decisions of a huge content network, but I figured it'd be worth asking if anyone knew what's up, and throwing out there that I'd love to see the content restored elsewhere.

Perhaps they will reappear with a new name to avoid the word "shemales" like others, who, respectfully, have done the same.

Oh, this isn't a knock on asiantgirl in the slightest. I love Grooby's ladyboy content, I've been a fan of Frank's for as long as I've been a fan of trans porn, and I'd probably cop a subscription to either ATG or his own site right now if I weren't already stretched a little thin (Rachael Belle's new shoots just compelled me to grab a tgirls.xxx membership in addition to my active Brazilian one). I just enjoyed the now-defunct site's (name used in the OP purely for the sake of clarity; I'm not a fan of the nomenclature either) particular style, and I think it would be sad to lose its back catalogue completely.
