Thanks @Jammo22 I agree. Two things about meeting people off the apps :

#1 the huge ghost/flake factor. I find that 50 to 70% of the meets I set end up ghosting. Can't tell you how many time I have gotten ready for a guy who is hot to fuck me, we set a time and place and he just ghosts.

#2 There is a danger factor to meeting randos in a non public place.

I was at a drag show in gay bar on the Friday before New Year's and was kinda surprised
to see about 6 other Tgurls there that were not in the show. (Badlands Bar in Las Vegas)

Drag shows have always been a good place to meet Tgurls.

A lot of Tgurls are extremely closeted and shy for various reasons: shame, fear, hiding
that part of themselves from a Significant Other, etc...

Drag shows are an uniquely accepting social gathering where a shy tgurl can feel relatively
secure.

So if you are looking to connect with a Tgurl IRL you may want to stop a drag show now and then.

I think I will stop by a drag show this year, then. I hope lots and lots of people feel liberated by being themselves everywhere as time goes by. I sometimes wonder how truly unfree some people must be since they want to take freedom away from others. It is sad. Let's hope 2024 will be a year where human diversity is celebrated and lived out more than ever!
