Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
Rules change. I don't think they've been applied incorrectly in this instance and no rules cover everything. I'll edit the existing ones.
BTW - this was in the existing rules if you take a look:
As a company which has to constantly fight content piracy, we recognise that there is a need for some content to be shown on platforms like this, but if it becomes a destination for spank material only, then it's purpose becomes more blurry as it takes potential sales away from those whose content is being shown. Most members are able to respect those guidelines, and show content to display their likes, or to make their point without it becoming abusive. A few members abuse this, and it ends up with complete threads being deleted.
So was this, which applies to all those worms we've never heard from, until their spank bank was elimated:
If you never buy porn but rely on this site and other free sites for your spank material, then you're leech and worthless here. Your opinion is meaningless, you have no rights or say in anything

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
I'll take your word for it that they've always been here and got lost amongst the other stuff.
I like the forum, and though I don't post unless it is something I feel is pertinent or worthwhile I do visit on a weekly basis on average and look through threads other than the image threads.
The point I've been trying to make is that if this place turns into something where the " woke/social justice " stuff are the dominant topics of discussion a lot of people will leave. Even though some of us are supportive of those issues we don't want to be confronted by it at every turn.
In other words, if I visit 5 times in a row and each of those visits shows me that the front page of the forum consists not of image threads, but of threads that are related to social issues, I'll eventually stop visiting. I am sure there are others that feel the same way.
It is what it is though..Forums change over the years, I just never thought I'd see these types of changes here.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
I don't think anyone wants that, I certainly don't - and posters should read the temperature of the room before simply posting links to any trans news item - but just because it's news doesn't tar it with the negative connoctations you seem to impart with 'woke' and 'social justice'. Some wider understanding of trans girls and what they go through is as important as any photos here.
Leave or don't.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
My point is that you don't appear to have applied the rules as stated at the time. Previously the limit was 12 images per set - now it's 1-2. It would have been better to announce the new rules and then enforce them from that time.
I'm still struggling to see why those 80 or so threads were deleted and not others. For instance, somebody mentioned that a post-op thread was deleted, which hardly sounds like the sort that would have been full of stolen images. Yet there are still some threads with hundreds of pages of images that weren't deleted.
You said that this action was prompted by seeing two pages of only image updates. Isn't the real question why there were no posts on anything else? I think the real problem is not that there's been more porn, but that the other stuff has dried up. For whatever reason, the people who were more likely to post comments have been steadily drifting away. We may end up with a dead forum with not much porn but not much other stuff either.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
Surely it's a simple matter to ignore threads that don't interest you. It's largely just one member who's taken it upon himself to post links that rarely attract any discussion. I can never understand why so many people complain about threads that they have chosen to open and read.

Re: What's with All the Thread Deletions?
I can understand why the deletion, and agree with it quite easily.
On the other hand, I've seen the behavior of the owner of this site in this topic, and that's something I cannot agree with. The world is full of bad behavior, bad people, hate and ... well you get the idea. Why the need to add more bad stuff in it, really ? Especially on a forum whose purpose is said (by the same dude, no less) to share thoughts and ideas on a topic as delicate as transgenderism.
If anything, it only convinced me that you can't really have a decent discussion here without taking the risk of being butchered by someone for no good reason.
bye.
and yes, you can also comment about how i only have 3 posts and that I did not make a great contribution. It will only further prove my point.
