Since the tyranny is over (for now) what is the likelihood of the ban on personal ads on Craigslist gets lifted? The personal ads helped create an underground community of LGBT people and got many of them off the streets. With the ban there's been more LGBT people living on the streets since before 2017. I prefer personal ads have rules to keep escorts out

Trump wasn't to blame for the ban on personal ads. The FOSTA-SESTA Act was. An act that received bipartisan support in Congress.

You can still find personal ads on CL, usually under missed connections or activities or general. Unfortunately, it's uncategorized, a lot of spam. Still, you can sometimes find real people there. I prefer doublelist, which seems to have taken the place of CL. They have seemed to largely keep the spam and escorts largely off there. However, it's not as freewheeling as CL. They seem to reject some ads for no good reason. They allow nude pics but discourage them, and they also discourage stuff that's too explicit. It's still not as popular as CL used to be.
