I am not trying to speak for Steven here but that makes little business sense unless he also wants to start a collections agency. What is to stop someone from stopping payments or canceling the card.

The $1200 up front is probably one of the reasons he offers it because it is a guaranteed $1200 as opposed to waiting for rebills. From an accounting perspective, the revenue is realized immediately in the month the pass is sold.

As Cereal Escapist stated, we couldn't offer it for $100 a month for all that content, the numbers just don't add up to keep us shooting this amount of content.

Companies have to be careful about offering too many discounts, it's a fine balance between bringing in enough income to cover the next months shooting, and being under. Something like Covid (or a server crash/hack, or banking issues) can be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Your question presumes that there is a saturation of porn studios in the first place.

As a fan of transgender erotica, where years ago, the choices were different, what I can is that I don't think there is any oversaturation in terms of sites like Grooby's catalog or its competitors. You should read Steven's post on the state of the industry in the "What Happened to Shemale Strokers" thread.

Though there may be other producers in the game now, to me, there is an oversaturation of some models that are hired ubiquitously. The number of producers does not really matter to me as a fan, but the constant reuse of the same talent makes much of the content out there repetitive and boring.

Also, while I would never say a model should only work for someone else, the model run pages like Many Vids and Only Fans confound my choices and makes it hard to determine where I will spend my money.

It is simple...I have my favorites but I also love variety and to gawk and new girls. If you look at my posts (not that I expect you to), I generally rave about my favorites and they don't usually change BUT when a girl I have never seen before is on FemOut or GG, she has my attention until her novelty wears off (i.e. the next new girl that impresses me debuts). As a viewer and fan, this is my main thing, I want to see fresh girls, or girls who haven't had lots of exposure and that's what we try to do across our sites, which is why you see some models getting used many times (because they only feature on our sites) over the bigger stars (who are featuring in dozens of productions). Most of those stars, are stars for a reason - they draw a crowd. Take Daisy for example, although she's worked for other companies, every time we feature her we get great feedback - Hazel Tucker, Khloe Hart were similar.

As a producer/company owner it's a bit different. With no other companies showing solo content , and with so little production of more than those dozen girls who work in Vegas, we almost feel a responsibility to the models and try to get as many as we can in for first time shoots, or reshoots for the ones who are popular. With adding the stars, or girls like Daisy, Ryder, Emma Rose, etc. whom we know will do well, it squeezes the amount of availability for girls who we want to reshoot but aren't 'as sure a thing', as some of the bigger names. It's a constant juggling act.
We run some sites at none profit, or barely covering the expenses. As long as they cover the models fees, it's better for us to do more production and keep more models happy, then it is do less work.
