    Default Maxwell's not-so-Silver Slammer

Ghislaine Maxwell is in the Slammer, but will she squeal?

The obvious question comes with the rider- what in fact, does she know? And of course, who does she know? There are claims she has a 'black book' (why always 'Black'?) with the names of the men who enjoyed the sins of Jeffrey Epstein, as U2 put it 'With or without you'. We don't know who they are, even as we know that Epstein made a point of drawing certain men into his orbit. We don't know if they flew on the 'Lolita Express' to a private island in the Caribbean to sample the Coconuts, the Rum, the Bum and the Beaches. And I guess they will all deny it, unless the rumours are also true that Ghislaine Maxwell has tapes, and photos. At this rate, she may also need semen samples, and who knows? If the lurid tales emerging in The Sun and The Mail are true, Ghislaine Maxwell is such a Grade A pervert herself, she probably does have the white stuff on Louis Vuitton handbags and Victoria's Secret undies where they were splashed in a 12-piece orgy.

The President has 'wished her well', interpretation of which ranges from a coded message: keep your mouth shut, or whatever bizarre spin Ms Mac can shuttle into existence.

For me it reminds me of the 1980s when her father Bob, a man with a quite extraordinary personal history, waged war with Rupert Murdoch to see which of the two could produce the most vulgar, the most crude, the most politically biased garbage newspaper in the UK -a war Murdoch won (see the link below).
And here is the irony, given that Maxwell's daughter is accused of participating in under-age sex: it was Murdoch's The Sun, which on Page 3 used to print photos of topless 16-year olds that would put him in prison in some parts of the USA, and make him sign the sex-offenders register.

Maybe we should, as the President once advised, 'Ask Prince Andrew'?

The President has descrbed Little St Jamees, Epstein's private island in the Caribbean, as a 'cesspool' -how does he know it was like that? He is not known to have visited the Island, but then the question is, what does he know?

Aha, the tapes! There are tapes! There are tapes, are there not Ms Maxwell? Or there were tapes. Where are they now? I blame it on Nixon. Tapes have never been the same since.

"Ghislaine Maxwell admitted that Jeffrey Epstein had secret recordings of Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, a CBS News producer has claimed in a new book.
The British socialite, who is awaiting trial on charges of procuring girls for Epstein to abuse in the mid-1990s, was reportedly duped by journalist Ira Rosen into confirming that the sex offender had taped his famous friends."

Jonn Sweeney has a useful summary that asks at what point over the years did MsMaxwell question the morals of Mr Epstein?

Am I the only one who thinks Ghislaine Maxwell is hot as hell? I’m considering visiting her in prison.

Also, for your entertainment, here’s your unpopular opinion for the day: Jeffrey Epstein did nothing wrong.

Liberals are constantly harping about “social constructs.” Gender is a social construct, race is a social construct, etc. Actually no they’re not.

What actually IS a social construct are age-of-consent laws. Like, literally, society constructed them.

I don’t defend pedophiles. Children should definitely NOT be subject to the sexual advances of adults. My problem with the whole matter is the definition of “children.”

I’ve fucked 14-year-olds before. When I was 14. Matter of fact I fucked a 14-year-old when I was 16 (still love you Tina!). It was fantastic. She grabbed my butt when a big group of us were cutting school to swim in her cousin’s pool and it was on.

I no longer fuck teenagers and haven’t since I was a teenager, my requirements for arousal now include an adult-level awareness of the situation from my partner. I guess Jeff Epstein never needed that.

But teenagers DO fuck. The popular opinion is, I guess, that they don’t.

Anyway I guarantee you those girls knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Now it’s just a very adult cash-grab.

My only observation on this at the moment concerns the law on trafficking. If a 19-year old invites a 17-year old to visit and pays the fare, that could be trafficking. I guess that in the case of a 14 year old who has been sexually active since he or she was, say, 11 and is invited to leave their home state then the person paying is potentially breaking laws on trafficking. The age difference will be crucial with regard to those underage, be it 16 or 18. Indeed, there are precocious teenagers but the weight of the law falls on, in this case, the Man paying, and on that basis, Epstein was a serial lawbreaker. It seems inconceivable to me that Maxwell knew nothng about Epstein's behaviour, and clearly could not deny it after his first conviction unless she believed him then to be guilty of which there is evidence I am aware of.

So far, then, it seems wealth and entitlement shaped the way both Maxwell and Epstein behaved, and then they were found out. But the case is not yet over.

An interesting claim was made last night in the latest episode of a documentary on Robert Maxwell, focusing on Ghislaine following her father's 'mysterious' death in 1991. Even people close to her in New York, where she was living at the time, did not know precisely how she came to meet Epstein, whereas last night the suggestion was that it was through her father, and that Robert Maxwell had some sort of business relationship with Epstein that may have involved the latter 'moving' some of Maxwell's money from the UK into an offshore account, one of the services Epstein was known for.

The link below also looks at the Ghislaine-Epstein link, but is an almost hilarious portrait of Prince Andrew, almost because in reality there is not much to laugh about, not least as he uses his mummy's affection in an attempt to rehabilitate his shattered reputation. A recommended read, as the original Telegraph version is hidden behind a paywall-

‘Jeffrey Epstein told people that Prince Andrew was an idiot – but a useful one’ (yahoo.com)
