    Default VPN advice?

The Senate passed a bill yesterday that allows the FBI to search a suspect’s browser history without a warrant.

I have always preferred to watch porn on DVD. Because I don’t trust the internet I have never signed up for online porn, chaturbate etc. I rarely search tube sites and my online porn is mostly HA, Xrent (vendor of choice), shemalestardb and IAFD

But I am seeing a lot of girls I like whose scenes aren’t making it to DVD. Plus I am a professional sound engineer who was just put in charge of a Video Studio so I am teaching myself video editing.

I want to post my video edits to Redgifs and video mashups (of clip-mixes ripped from my personal, paid for porn collection) somewhere

I have Avast Premium Security, they are offering me a good deal on VPN.

But I have no idea about VPN. Any advice or suggestions?

A VPN masks your identity by routing your internet via its own server rather than your ISP so that data comes from the VPN server, rather than your computer.

However, a VPN won't hide your browsing history. Several browsers now offer a private browsing mode so that your history is not stored.

You do understand this is still illegal right? "(of clip-mixes ripped from my personal, paid for porn collection) "

While we give some latitude on people doing this, we do go after people who abuse it too much including removing the logos.

Why are you so worried about the FBI finding legal porn on your browser history?

There's an old saying from the early days of the Internet: "Don't do anything online that you wouldn't want to see on the front page of the New York Times." The day may be coming when your Internet search engine data -- or other activities -- can be sold to anyone who wants it. Who knows what stupid laws will be passed in the future, regarding Internet use. We are now seeing a huge push by government to violate all sorts of human rights in the name of protecting. This is already happening in China, where watching porn will lower your "social credit," meaning it can affect your ability to travel, your financial credit, and other aspects of living a normal life. You can bet that other countries will be looking at a similar system. I'm not doing anything illegal, but who the hell knows what the government will consider illegal next year or even next month.

I just started using a VPN, so I'm not familiar with all of the ins and outs -- still learning. It does slow things down a small bit sometimes, but that's a small price to pay for shielding your privacy. I researched VPNs, and my favorite is ExpressVPN. It is headquartered outside the US, in the British Virgin Islands, although has remote servers in the US and other countries. One feature of ExpressVPN is that, unlike some VPNs, it does not keep any record of your browsing history, so that even in the unlikely event that your browsing history is ever subpoenaed, they would not be able to provide the details. You can do a google search on VPNs, and see reviews. Sounds like you're a resident of the US. If so, then I would avoid any VPN company that is headquartered in the US (or whatever country you're in). Also, avoid VPNs that are headquartered in China. I believe there are some good VPNs headquartered in Switzerland, which is more privacy-conscious than much of the rest of the world.

I use Private Internet Access (PIA). It's the cheapest I've found, has a kill switch, and doesn't keep logs. I think it's HQ'd in Canada, but I'm not sure.

the feds won't still have access through VPNs.
I don't see how it matters, really.

Either way, will the feds expose you for liking ts porn? Maybe the federal judge will let you off, or Trump himself will pardon you since he secretly has paid TS porn stars or escorts to fuck him and he's helping a brother out.
