I tried to lurk, but I couldn't. This has always annoyed me---
It's fucking porn!!!
Anyone looking at porn and saying its not being responsible and sending the wrong message is kinda retarded. It's porn, that's what it does. If you're getting your values from porn and porn stars are your role models, you need to seek help.
And another thing...why is it that the transsexual is treated like the only one possibly carying HIV? I mean the guy (who surely does gay porn) fucks the GG bareback, in the pussy and the ass, the girl sucks him bareback, but then they stick a condom on the TS to suck her and fuck her!!! Explain!!!

The problem with some smaller directors is that to cut costs they do not require tests from their performers. I know some who do not. And that is a big issue for me.
When ADULTS are practicing safe sex, with adults who practice safe sex then there is no issue. What some clients think is that in there is some form of rush/enjoyment for having unprotected sex with a sex worker. I seriously find it repulsing, and when a guy asks me for bagless sex - he is turned down and the door slams on his face. Just remember that it is a horrible virus, but there are others you can get - such as hepititis C which kills faster the HIV, not to mention things that can't kill you.
This is a subject we can talk about for days and years, but the truth is - why would you want to risk your life and the lives of others just to get off?
And if you are a transsexual or a man who's infected why would you want to have unprotected sex? Further more... why aren't more people getting tested regularly?
The problem does not start in Porn ... We are all adults and we make our own choices...
If I watch Superman and go jump off a roof because I think I can fly, or shoot myself on the chest cause I think I am bullet proof, does that make me a lunatic?

Cause there has only been 2 cases of HIV in the porn industry since the big HIV and AIDS epidemic and testing began
but I think there'll be more than just those 2. can't remember the name of the big black dude who got it; he was doing straight and gay-porn both.
unsure if he got infected inside the scene or oytside.
but it's more than just 2.

The "black guy" went to Brasil for something or rather, when he returned his test results were still valid ( 1 month window ) and so... he did scenes with some GGs. I think I heard that the ones he did cream pies with he infgected and the ones who didn't were ok. Vicki should have more of the details on that, don't quote me.
When I do movies, especially for Joey, he requires a fresh test. NOT something that could be 30days old, 1 day fresh from expireing. The other times I shot bareback were for Anabolic T-Girls 2 and we all had fresh tests, they were still warm from the press.
So what is the difference between the "Straight" genra and TS or Gay genra that makes us not ok to do bareback scenes?
That's because of stupidity and neglect from people who do not get tested and still play around with cum.
Men who like transsexuals get around. Most of you are sex addicts, trust me, you are too proud to admit it but it is true... There is a problem with practicing what you preach. We can all sit here and place blame, but we all have the responsability to try and keep people safe by doing what we can.
I can surely rest my head on my pillow at night and know I am doing all I can to keep myself and others I come in contact with safe, not only by having safe sex practices ( not just wearing condoms but getting regular testing ) but by educating my clients on how to stay safe. Something many girls do not do.
So to all you guys out there who are quick to place blame on performers doing bareback scenes ... Please hold the mirror the other way and worry about what you are doing wrong. The adult entertainment industry is a contained tight net group of people. Maybe you should all see what we are doing right to keep us so safe, and for those in the industru who broke the rule and got infected... well... there's your mirror ... you brake the rule - you pay the price.

I have always thought that it was my responsability to help clear the name of my community. Hopefully I have helped the industry to see that we can ALL be permiscuous, not just transsexuals, and by getting tested as they do, I have come to receive the percs of that, doing scenes with great stars such as Belladonna.
It is a question of discrimination, stereo typing and people using girls who obviously care nothing about another person's life. I call that attemped murder, or second degree murder.

Now, one of the things I have noticed among many in the TS community is an inability to talk about HIV openly and honestly. Where does this stem from? From the stigma already placed upon transsexuals and the guys who are attracted to them by society? It's probably at the core of it. For some reason, many people still view as an abberation, as oddities to be accepted as sexual thrills as opposed to being accepted as human beings. This is across the board, around the world. i think it bleeds into a deep denial and shame for many men who like transsexuals. And in denial and shame is secrecy and the inability to talk openly and honestly about things.
I've always admired the gay community for their ability to own who they are and mix their activism, politics with their culture. Why can't we do that here, in our own community? Why can't we own who we are as a community? Be proud of ourselves and each other?
Back to performers, and this goes out to sucka4chix...do you honestly think everyone is as smart as you are? I don't. And it's proven time and again on these very boards.

I constantly have to be reminded that the average american is not that intelligent (witness the popularity of Maury,Springer, reality tv, Jessica Simpson, todays hip hop), but I haven't accepted that people look to porn to get educated yet.
Pornography is a prurient interest, no matter how we try to make it main stream, and as such I don't think many people try to attach positive adjectives to it.
Didn't Susan Shah die of AIDS and didn't she do a Rogue Adventure?
Yes most tranny chasers are addicts, but mostly they "get around" because it's nearly impossible to settle down with a TS, especially if you don't live near a "hot spot", so you end up seeing escorts (plural), because that's the only way you can meet them...An addict cannot be relied upon to do anything, and expecting one to get tested or be honest about their status is naive. It's not crack but addiction is addiction. This is why you guys can't understand, because you're thinking logically, but it's not logical. In it's purest sense, it is bestial--- acting upon a carnal desire without thinking or caring, you're driven by the flesh, or more exactly the chemicals in the flesh... Haven't you ever been with someone, got off and soon as you came you're like "Yuck WTF, why am I here... with them!" That's because of the chemicals... soon as they subside you think normally, but until then it can be like being possessed. Until there is a way to treat the mental/psychological aspects of the behavior, nothing will change.
Anyways, Danielle, always been a fan. You're awesome and obviously intelligent and very responsible. Hopefully you can make a difference.

Perhaps, because they only come creeping out at night,

However, when it comes into your life, I think then your

But, unfortunately at that point it may be too late.
