That highlights the subjective nature of it; eg how to weigh up incredible one-off performances vs performance over the whole decade. I don't think anyone would argue that Leicester City was the best football team of the decade.

You make a good and valid point about Leicester, as they were a weak team for most of the decade, and only flourished in one season, though they are doing well this season too. I have no interest in Cricket or Rugby (Union or League), Basketball, like Ice Hockey is a mystery I have no interest in deciphering, while watching women's volleyball with a friend was like watching birds mate -blink and you miss everything.
