Does size really matter.....when it comes to porn storage?

I am now nearing 3TB of tranny porn or about 4500 scenes that I have "archived for research purposes" most of which is solo stuff.

There is an ebb and flow to my porn archive as though storage is cheap and readily available, I go through these phases where I tend to purge scenes that I have completely forgot I downloaded or more likely just lost interest in the model. I think it is time to review my stash.

How much tranny porn do you guys archive? Do you sort though your stuff regularly and purge or just keep adding to it? Is your stash varied or do you just hoard files from a few girls only?

As to the latter question, there are maybe 50 models that I would say I will never delete their porn because it is my go-to stuff. Sometimes I wonder if I should just save that stuff and just let the rest fade away.

Good question. It is a dilemma. I probably have comparable amount of TS porn, by a large variety of models. I also like to acquire new stuff regularly. Given there's only so much time I can spend watching porn, I know realistically that I may never get around to watching some of it again. Once your collection gets to a large size it also becomes a challenge to remember and find scenes.

Despite that, I have resisted pruning my collection so far because:
- It would be a time-consuming process
- I like to retain the option of watching scenes, especially when I've already paid for them
- The cost of storage is not high

Have you put it all on portable hard drive? Last count I had 13 portable hard drives. I keep them in a small box about half size of a shoebox in a cupboard. No room whatsoever.
I list on my computer hard drive what contents are on what portable, numbering the portables.

So....I used to try to keep track by cataloging but that's a lot of work. Plus, if I am in the mood to watch something, I am not going to pull out an external hdd so I don't use them. I have plenty of room on my NAS (20TB in total) so space is not the issue at all. It is more like, is 3TB too much porn to hoard when I don't watch most of it? I keep going back to the same girls I like over and over again so I am not even sure why I store as much as I do. There are scenes from "Shemale Yum" name-days that I have never fapped to but I did download and hoard them all this time.

I have not watched this scene in probably 4 years. Why am I keeping it? Because I can? Because I once found Brittany attractive? Does it really serve me well to have this in my collection? It seems as if I could delete it and never have to worry about it.

This somewhat goes back to an older post I made where the constant influx of new girls makes me grow weary of models from the past so I guess this is just a 1st world problem....do I continue to store some porn for posterity even though I will probably never watch it again.
