    Default The Reality of Rebirth

Many guys probably wonder how TS girls start their journey or what it's like transitioning as TS. You either swim or drown.

When I was a teenager the first 2 years of highschool I suffered from extreme depression and hated looking at myself. I slept through all my classes and went a full year skipping lunch. I became anorexic and my body never fully developed because of it. The only thing that saved me was music.

It wasn't until I stumbled onto trans porn by accident that I realized why I was unhappy and started my journey transitioning. I became much happier and tried getting my body back to a better weight.

My body suffered for 2 months trying to gain weight before i was at a healthier weight. Anyone that tells people suffering with an eating disorder to just eat can't understand how hard it is. Beyond mental, your stomach becomes so small that eating a couple bites of food makes you feel like someone is stabbing your stomach with a knife. Your stomach is like a rubber band, the smaller it is the more painful when eating because it has less elasticity to stretch out. This is why some need clinical treatment and can be only fed liquids.

The next couple years were the best years of my life. I became pescetarian and developed a passion for exercising while maintaining a specific weight. I became extremely passionate about learning and went to college.

Transitioning is really a start of a completely new life. If you're taking hormones you are also starting your second puberty and having your body redefine itself.

The hardest thing is letting go of everything/everyone you love. The biggest change is losing friends or family because of it. I lost one of my best long term friends because he became a minster and felt that my transition wasn't part of his beliefs so he blocked me. Discrimination is probably the hardest thing to deal with early on. At the start, no one will take you serious. Its even harder to transition if you're of older age.

Another issue is that a lot of trans have financial issues. Surgeries are expensive and many can have problems finding a job. It can be really embarrassing doing interviews as trans and many struggle with that socially, especially early on. One of the worst feelings is going into an interview and wondering if you're going to have to explain anything to them about being trans. Transitioning can also feel impossible if you already have a stable job as your biological sex.

Right now I'm really happy with how far I've come and where I'm going.

I wanted to post this for years, but didn't know where to start or what to cover. Anorexia and suicide attempts are extremely common in the trans community. I will probably do a more in-depth video on this in the future when I start making youtube videos.

I've seen my GF deal with the effects of a second puberty and hormones. While not all fun it is a little fun to see her marvel at her little A cup breasts at age 50, and to be so excited at that age to just go to a carnival and ride some rides - something she rarely did with kids her age growing up because no one wanted hang out with her

thanks for sharing that really personal and in depth story on your transition story. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind

    1. which jobs are the easiest for trans girls to apply in terms of being the least embarrassed?

    2. do you think transitioning would be easier in a different country other than the US? why is that?

    3. do you think anorexia is more or less common among trans girls as the general population?

    4. do you see trans porn as helpful or harmful to transitioning?

    1. Well the easiest would probably be something related in the LGBTQ community. For example my clinic I go to for hormones specifically only deals with LGBTQ related things, such as hormone therapy, surgery, and PrEP. Pretty much all the staff there are on the spectrum, I imagine getting a job there as an assistant or receptionist would be fairly easy.

Other things could be anything free lance or remote. Such as website stuff, art, programming, writing.

    Porn is easy too.

    2. I don't know a lot about other countries on how open they are, but I don't think it would be much easier other than differences in medical coverage. A lot of issues are often more so mental than actual laws or acceptance.

    3. I think anorexia is much more common in trans girls. Both a mixture of depression and trying to get down to a similar weight as females. Even right now I'm a little underweight. The only thing that stopped me when I got bad was that it was impossible to stay at a weight, I started losing weight rapidly from the inability to eat. I seen some I know have/had a problem in porn.

    4. That's a hard question. I think everyone is different on how they handle it. I think it did help embrace myself a lot. I loved it during transitioning. Too much social media for anyone is bad though, especially when transitioning.

This is a great post. I think it is so important that people who have transitioned share their story. I think a lot of people dont fully understand what they are going in for and they need to hear the good and the bad. And it is important that a range of experiences are available for people to read. I love this post!!!

And if I was going to give any advice, it would be:

    1. stay socially active. Dont let yourself get socially isolated. If there are communities around you, join them.
    2. appearance is important. Study your skin tone and body shape as if it is an art. I have seen many Tgirls draw un-wanted attention to themselves because of how they appear. One Tgirl at my local cafe is tall but she knows her body shape and she dresses to it. She never attracts attention and blends in. In fact, she looks classical and elegant. However, another Tgirl I know is also tall but she doesnt dress to her body shape. People stare at her. Skin tone is more important than many people realise. I know this sounds shallow but there is so much more I could say.

But really all I want to say is 'keep it up Lily Rox'!!!

Since Caitlin Jenner transitioned, there has been a big trend for tolerance for Tgirls in my country. This is great but it has increased the number of transitions and some boys have been transitioning without putting enough thought into it, and the next year they are reverting back to a boy.
