I voted not smart. It's definitely COOL. But not smart.

The USA seems to be moving toward legalization at the moment. But it wouldn't surprise me at all to see an anti-legalization movement gain traction. There are a couple of essentially undeniable arguments that can always be made against marijuana - that it makes people lazy, and that it is mentally addictive. Not to mention that the government is fully addicted to the money they make by prosecuting marijuana laws. They're always going to be open to hearing arguments for continued criminalization.

It just isn't smart to put a video of yourself doing something illegal on the internet, period. Even if it is only slightly illegal. There are some options that are no longer open to anyone who has ever posted themselves doing something criminal on the internet. They'll never get a government job requiring a security clearance or work in law enforcement, as examples. Some companies will never hire you, some universities will never accept you as a student, some private individuals may refuse to do business with you, and so on and on and on. I mean, you're putting it out there as if it's above the judgment of others. Yet people will judge it anyway. Again, not smart.

i voted not smart for the legal reasons as recreational use of pot is not ubiquitously legal.

from a personal aspect, abhorring smoking whether it is a joint or cigarette, it is a turn off.

Depends on where they live and what they have going on in their lives. Overall, it's stupid because even in legalized states, many employers dont want to see you with weed and drinking all over your social media. People are more open with their personal lives .ore than ever with the need for validation and looking cool on social media. Now if you work for yourself and never plan on working an orthodox job, I guess its whatever.
