I can confirm that Players Club Tampa is up and running and is... good? Here's what I learned.

The club operates our of a regular cis strip club Sun and Mon nights.
I was there on a Sunday and there were about 6-8 girls there and only 3-4 guys at any one time. Monday is the busier night, I was told. About half-and-half black and white girls. All were reasonably passable - some more than others, as usual. One of the girls was an absolute bombshell and said she dances at cis strip clubs. (she tucks and the club is topless only).

The girls dance on stage and no one tips. It was weird. I was up there with fifty 1s and the girls seemed appreciative. They told me that it was so 'dead' and that no one tips at the rail was because guys show up, get private dances from their regular girls, then leave right away. There's very little loitering or 'watching the stage' like you'd see in a normal strip club.

They have a secluded-but-not-private lap dance room and several private booths with curtains. Each girl sets her own price for each. Additional activity may be added P4P (YMMV).

I had a good time - dropped about $200 on the night ($25 cover, $50 tips, $80 for 2 dances, $50 P4P). Chatted up a young, skinny goth girl whose stage dances were pretty tame but who opened up a lot more in private. Spent about an hour after chatting with her and a couple of the other girls.

It's not quite a DIVAS SF, but comparable to the NYC parties I've been to. Worth going if you're in the area, but don't necessarily plan a trip around it.
