The Trump Court now threatens the Legitimacy of the Supreme Court itself, for why should American citizens respect an Institution whose aim is to promote the extremist policies of a minority in the country, because of some unwanted religious influence on the Justices when they make their 'legal' arguments, as the Dissenting opinion declares-

It converts a series of dissenting opinions expressing antipathy toward Roe and Casey into a decision greenlighting even total abortion bans. Susan Collins also said that Trump would learn a lesson after she voted against his first impeachment. Evidently she is a poor judge of character. I think it's clear from the lawyeresque way they answered the question in the confirmation hearings that they were giving themselves wiggle room.
