I replied to this before, but after thinking about it, they might be asking you a test question, by which I mean they are not working girls. There are actually a lot of normal t-girls on Grindr looking for hookups, (real) dates, relationships, etc., who usually don't want anything to do with guys who use escorts.

My experience has been the same. I've met some really cool t-girls IRL of Grindr. Some were just looking for hookups and others were looking for relationships. I'm currently using it as dating app and like it much better than CL or niche websites t-girls and the guys who like them.
