i can see their supposed logic to shut down the bp,craiglist sites on the human trafficking grounds.however i don't understand how they can shut up reviews ,blogs,forums etc as long as these communications don't have any personal info to connectto the escorts-phone numbers,contact info etc...it seems to fall under a free speech issue with out that info...do restaurant reviews get shut down if a restaurant is a mob front??..i think the forum here had some good ground rules to keep it in the free speech realm of dialogue vs actually trafficking,soliciting etc..

Dont forget 'they' have not shut down anything, its the site owners that are taking action to avoid legal ramifications. It doesnt really matter what rules are in place, the whole thing boils down to risk. The laws are vague and untested in the courts. Untill it is ascertained exactly what is acceptable by some test cases then web site owners and operators will take a risk based approach to decide what they allow.

Stephen has decided it is not worth the risk of becoming involved in one of these test cases, which is an entirely understandable position when you consider that there is no money made directly from that part of the forum.

Whether the reviews generate enough traffic to the rest of the site to make them worthwhile only time will tell, but personally I doubt it unless some test case can prove the legality of hosting such a discussion.

I look forward to being a part of any future european based forum or rejoining the party here if and when this shit blows over.

I just want to thank those that have made this place what it is, stephen and a few other notable people who im sure we all know. Its been a great resource that I have enjoyed being a part of.

I had this out only last week. The "Left" get the blame for it in the UK too but the very highly paid Civil servants (£150-200K +per year) who implement this garbage are not from the Left! Warned of this few weeks back on the India forum of the looming danger of escort classifieds business coming to an end. Some of the businesses have shifted their domain and businesses overseas minus the classifieds for USA region as they will be still liable for criminal charges if its ownership is established originating from USA, so anyone of you still hopefull of return of the threads via some portal registered outside USA can forget it.

Sorry but I have to disagree with you very strongly. I know many girls who provide a very high standard of service and received very nit picky negative reviews, cis girl escorts and TS escorts. I have only ever received positive reviews, on here and AW. The majority of my clients are repeat clients.

Whats nit picky to you may be serious to someone else. Everyone is different which is why reviews from a variety of punters is helpful to create a more balanced view of a service provider - which is what review sites should be about. Next time you receive nit picky reviews, take it on board and rectify it, however small.

On AW, you can only review escorts you've confirmed a booking with - I find people are less likely to show their true feelings once an escort knows who they really are. Good job on having repeat clients, but imagine a review site where all you get are "repeat clients" not really adding anything new to a thread, only comments like "she's great, go see her" - not massively helpful to a prospective new client. The old reviews board here was a bit like that and very cliqy. Good for the ego maybe.
