I do understand your point of view. Yes I put makeup on, yes it makes a huge difference. When a client knocks on my door, my aim is that I am the same person in front of them as I am in one of my adverts. The normal response that I get is "you are better looking than your adverts", which makes me happy but it could be a bit of smoothness said by guys. I dont know.

I use selfies, I also invariably hear from guys that I'm better looking in person than in pics. I also link my Snapchat, which is all candid shots, to my adverts so potential clients can see I'm the same girl from the ad.
But having photos taken is a business expense, and there are questions you need to ask yourself before you decide whether or not to commit to going all out, because it's not just photos, it's a number of things to consider.

Where do you plan to work from? How much are you planning to charge? How many clients do you realistically want to see.

If you plan to charge top of the range for your area, and to set up a mill seeing many, many clients per week, then you should probably have photos taken regularly, have a professionally built website set up, pay for adverts on some of the better sites, and host from an upscale hotel or nice apartment in a safe and private location.

If you are charging middle of the range, and working from your residence, and not planning to see more than 3-5 clients per week, then your business expenses would be better spent on things like some tasteful adverts, regular STI testing, decent lingerie, etc.

Some girls had professional pics taken years ago, and they still use them even though they no longer look anything like those photos. I use current and frequently updated selfies, but then I also charge about the minimum for a reputable provider, and I only see a limited number of clients.

Someone mentioned some Toronto girls that use pro photos and keep them updated: Well the average cost of an encounter with a reputable girl in Toronto is $300-500, so if they can command those prices then they should be investing in pro photos, a professionally built website, paid advertising on the best sites, etc.

though avoid the problems of both styles of photos. the professional ones - don't overdo the photoshopping, the selfies don't use the ones that are badly composed or feature out of focus and camera shake images.

Actually I think I agree with you both. I am often told that I look a lot better in the flesh than my pictures (it could just be smoothie bullshit) so maybe a professional photoshoot could bring out my best. I do love my selfies because I love the total honesty. No filter, no photoshop and the spontaneous (I feel good tonight) I need a picture.

I have a long list of guys who are begging to do my photos, I just need one to do the pictures that I want and not to do the pictures that they want. I had a photoshoot done 4 years ago and he focused on my ladycock, I think he was getting off on it.
