I have been thinking about this. 16 months ago I paid for an apartment in manchester for a weekend, paid a fortune and I had 8 bookings and 8 no shows. I was in tears and it has scared me the thought of paying out lots of money to go on tour for nothing to happen.

Yeah I think a bit of advance notice helps. Punters also have to organise time and money.
Lets say if I haven’t had a session for a while and/or really want it, i’ll have to take whats available when i have the time/money. And few days later someone I really like or had good time with b4 comes in town, now I might not have time/money. But if i knew she will be here in few days, i will hold out for her.
Also a little more communication b4 and after the session goes a long way with most people. Like a nice thank you text a few minutes after the session. I think these things increase the chances of a repeat.

i never send a text after a client visits me, I would hate to land them in trouble if they have a gf or wife
