Default The Highly Anticipated Fake News Awards

on january 7th, the drumfpt promised to hold the fake news awards: "those going to the most corrupt and biased mainstream media".

the awards arrived last night and the website immediately went down. when it came back up, the independent described the awards as "trump neatly encapsulating every reason why he's not fit to be president"

also worth noting: the awards came out right before newsweek reported that trump's inauguration money is still missing

and riding the coat tails of the fake news awards, trump has created a religious liberty division that protects doctors who have "moral or religious objections performing certain procedures" such as abortions and treating transgender americans or those with different gender identities.

this (allegedly) isn't fake news but trump claims orrin hatch told him he's "the greatest president in the history of our country."
trump then asked him "does that include lincoln and washington?" to which hatch answered "yes".

"i love this guy" trump said.

Ever noticed that Trump cannot do a genuine smile? He can only do that stupid smug look.

that's because very stable geniuses rarely smile. like possible stable genius jeanne ives who has decided to publicly thank governor bruce rauner for his moderate- and rather progressive stance on a number of important issues like immigration, trans bathroom rights and abortion. she's now cooked her own goose since it's unlikely she'll defeat rauner in the republican primaries which must've been her goal all along.

so it really is all thanks to bruce rauner

Thank you Bruce Rauner for not approving a budget for nearly two consecutive years, running us into debt, ruining schools and universities, busting unions, driving rural hospitals to ruin, killing elderly care, running small businesses into the ground and mucking up everything because you understand government as little as Trump. Thank you governor Rauner for being the stinking piece of shit that you are. That might make it easier for someone who actually wants to help the people of Illinois (instead of filling their own pockets) to take your place.

I see the whole "fake news" phenomenon, as being a powerful in mass mind control technique. It's purpose is to stop critical thinking. It says, 'trust nothing at all they say'. But some of those news organizations have been around since before Trump was born, (New York Times is 166 years old; CBS 81 years, etc). Philosophically the phenom, is an assault on Truth, itself. Truth is a core human concept, that is much more important than Donald Trump. With the light of truth, perhaps more people will realize that he, like everyone, is accountable for their actions. The "But Hillary... movement" is another tool of mass distraction, that tries to hide that universal principle.

While Rachel Maddow's reporting would get a much higher grade in a College Journalism Class than say, Sean Hannity, she is certainly just as biased. But that's kinda the point, Maddow speaks to well educated Liberals, Hannity speaks to Dudes that work 50 hours a week in a Lumber Mill.
As much as I can't stomach Conservative Media, they know their audience and have been perfecting their craft for over a generation now. Kind of like how the Juggalos follow Insane Clown Posse. White Trash Values, White Trash Truth.
