Racism is more acceptable than LGBTphobia.

Not being interested in transsexuals is certainly not transphobic but I don't really see the value in pitting two different prejudices against one another as though they compete for a finite resource. This only leads to more prejudice generally. The problem I gather from the first post seems to be that someone has been accused of transphobia who was not transphobic, not that people are too concerned about transphobia.

I am of course interested though if you think that he's only being accused because he's black and it's not just someone who is (extremely) wrong..that's of course relevant.

Apparently not wanting to be kissed by a transgender female is trans-phobic because Ginuwine didn't agree to it. It is these kind of extreme views that SJW's espouse which give transphobes license to say their is a gay agenda.

Someone might not want to be kissed for any number of reasons. Maybe they’re germophobic, or maybe they just don’t like being casually kissed by strangers. Not wanting to be kissed by someone because they’re transgender does, however, indicate a degree of discomfort (if you don’t want to call it a phobia). It’s far from extreme to make the observation. Nor would it have been extreme had Ginuwine been allowed his personal space without getting all political on him, if only he had been politic enough not to let his reasons be known.

On the bright side there are now three or four more people on HA alone who now know these celebs by name. In the end, ain’t that what it’s all about?
