    Default Social media vs ad

This might have been asked but a question about how y’all would handle this.

If your friends with a provider on social media but you’ve never spoken. And they post ads on any of the ad sites. Which way would you generally contact them? Personally I feel equally cringey with either choice. What’s your take?

Stick with the method you had been using.
Unless you want to speak with them incognito then use the other contact. Though why you would do it that way I don't know....

I think the OP is suggestion (correct me if I'm wrong) that he has seen an advert from someone who is on his friends list but that they have never spoken or met.

Assuming the social media account is a personal account and makes no mention of their work then you must contact them through the advert.

Contacting them on the social media platform to say that you saw an advert they placed almost feels like "outing" them.

Tell me if a have the wrong end of the stick.

On the assumption that this would be to set up an escort meet, then a phone call is all that's usually required. No need to contact them through any other means and avoids any other potential issues.

Aticus hit it right on the head! Preciate the insight. I have met a couple providers off standard dating sites that I know advertise in the area. I never equated that separation between the two sides but I prolly should have. I will stick to my standard methods of communicating

To be fair, if the social media your talking about is dating or swinging sites then Holzz has a fair point that they are likely to be ok with this approach.

I was thinking more of it was Facebook or twitter where the connections are there for the general public to more or less see.
