why not call them women or bull dyke? it would equal the misgender-representation plus it would mean they're gay if they were with you. if you call them a fag, then it would mean they were in a gay relationship with another man so their statement would actually seem true.

Often the word bullying is used too broadly to include any vigorous disagreement or even rudeness. But in Jamie's case she was not only confused about what sexual orientation is, she also was abusive to people and engaged in some of the most aggressive online bullying I've seen here.

That does not mean she can't make a credible claim that someone else engaged in abuse or harassment but it should say something if this does not create self-awareness in her. I'm not going to recount some of the things she said to people, as we've all made comments we regret, but I think she is seriously suspect as the conscience of any community unless she's changed significantly in the time since she posted here.

She's right that some people who insist on their straightness are self-serving but she has probably overcompensated in the other direction.

I'm unsure as why you addressed me in this reply - the lack of a question mark in my point and the way I phrased it should have made it quite clear it was a rhetorical question.

I agree having hateful views doesn't mean you can't have been bullied, abused or harassed - my point was quite simple though; we may have to take her words about her interactions with Christian with a larger grain of salt so to speak than perhaps some of us did at first. It's not a huge leap to think that her interactions with him were compromised from the start if she was harbouring similar derogatory thoughts about a man who makes his living (or a the main portion of it) by having sex with TS performers.

Also (not here but on twitter) she has been posting links to a Trans-Ethics article which further attacks Christian. I wonder if they would feel so comfortable supporting her in her campaign against him if they had seen some of the views she has expressed here. The old saying can prove true "those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". Imagine the differences in how similar high-profile cases could have been received if the accusers had a history of hateful behaviour. A lot of the response regarding the allegations against Christian came across as "well he can be a bit of an ass in the way he comes across so maybe it's true"; I'm simply suggesting that the way she has expressed certain views in the past could well be taken in a similar way.
