Mixing semen with a ts to create a child, any news on this?

Hello all.

I wanted to know if anybody has a clue as to when we could mix semen to make a child.

Basically, If I have a ts wife, and her and I mix our semen with the help of fertility doctors and they cross the dna somehow and we have a child.

Any ideas when this could be a a reality?

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. The child will either be yours and the mother's or your wife' and the mother's. It won't be a hybrid of you and your wife and the mother.

But this isn't what the OP has in mind. I'm guessing what he really wants is a donor egg whose DNA (23 chromosomes) has been replaced with that of his trans mate.

I'm guessing what he means is when they mix semen they do it so they don't know whos semen actually fertilised the egg. Although this could become clear later in life when the child starts looking like the mother or father.

No, the OP mentioned crossing the DNA, which I don't think it is possible. They could mix up semen, but only one cell would fertilize an egg and if mixed, which person's it was, would not be known until after birth through DNA testing.
