Hi all,
I have a friend who escorts and is looking at having some professional pics taken.

She particularly does not want the overly photoshopped look as one of her unique selling points is how great she looks without the need for any that.

Any ideas, thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

depends on where she is and what she wants.
i think you can find professional photographers on the i need an escort or tv chix site (maybe even on birchplace).

if just doing lingerie style shots check local colleges to see if there are photohgraphic courses there - students always need models.
check gumtree for same sort of i'll do your portfolio if you pose for me swaps.

i have a thought- would going inside the sun take you closer to another solar system? also, does your friend have a problem with looking at flashes of light?

i guess those were two thoughts.

recommendations: any camera will work. if your friend looks good, the picture will look good.

Forgot to mention I’m in Southern UK.
We have had loads of online offers from amateurs who have then inundated us with dodgy pics of past “clients” of theirs so are looking for someone more professional and are specifically hoping for some recommendations from girls who have had photo-shoots done.
Nothing hardcore, just sexy underwear stuff for use in the profile.

do a search to see if you have any photography clubs in your area, give them a call they may have someone who does glamour shots there or know of someone who does them.

also check the back of photography mags for the small ads to see if there are local studios you can go to.

while bluesoul is right if your escorting pal looks good then a decent camera will be good enough to take photos that will work for a profile page.

you still need to consider location - do you have somewhere to take the shots (probably where escorting takes place) or do you need a studio setting?
need to consider if you need lighting - often the on camera flash will not be best for glamour shots - but shoot during the and light through window might be enough.
what outfits and poses - silly i know but if you do it where escorting then you have full wardrobe to choose from but if you go to studio have to remember what to bring, especially props.
of course the other question is how much you prepared to pay? amateurs might do it cheap and cheerful just for the fun of being with sexy model or a chance to dip their wick, professionals will be hard nosed and expect cash.

Hi and thanks for the feedback.
The thing is she already has a pretty decent profile with some good pics but we see so many of the “top girls” with what are clearly professionally done photo shoots that she would like something along these lines without the photoshopng nonsense.
Don’t mind paying good money for good work and we have plenty of offers via her BP add from “willing amateurs” want something a bit more professional.

I was wondering this myself, I wouldn't mind paying a pretty penny for a very good, professional photo shoot and editing. All I'm getting is offers from amateur photographers.
