We've changed our name!
After 20 years as ShemaleYum we've re-named and re-branded to GroobyGirls.com
We've been planning and working on this for a long time. It takes a lot to let go of a website name that I created and have lived with for that amount of time, which has been so successful and which so many people know and love.
The name thought, is problematic. Twenty years is a long time and during that time, the usage of words change and the company has grown from one website to an international brand. We've had to recognize that the word 'shemale' can be considered offensive by a lot of our models, and even though they've continued to work with us, our aim has never been anything but to show them the utmost respect and to create an environment and company which they will to love to work in.
GroobyGirls.com is the perfect fit for the new site. Through our marketing and merchandizing and lot's of effort that name has became synonymous with trans girls who work in, or want to work in adult entertainment. Across social media you will already see girls calling themselves 'Grooby Girls' and anybody with a passing interest in trans porn, know's what 'Grooby' is.
We're the first site not to have to use any descriptor in our title other than 'girl'. Which is exactly what our models are. Gorgeous, interesting, fun, sexy, powerful girls. They're Grooby Girls.

I dont often go for re-brandings but in this case the "Shemaleyum" brand has served its purpose.
SY, the editors, photographers, and of course the models, did a great service of showcasing the beauty,femininity and sexiness of transgender women. It did that with WAY more class than its competitors -- especially 20 years ago. That is why you have been so successful.
The world has outgrown the "shemale" tag and this is- I think- the right move.
