Can you elaborate on this? I'm on a TG dating site at the moment and I can't say it's horrible, online dating in general really isn't for me, I get some replies and attention but the problem is everyone lives so far apart. I had a great convo with this girl but she lives in Canada, I'm in NY. We hit it off ok but the lives on the furthest side of Canada from my location as possible. I mean plane rides and fares just to test compatibility? And there's only so much you can pickup from someone from an online interaction.

well, i've gotten better interaction with girls on tg dating sites than on okcupid or something else. maybe it's because i feel more comfortable/attracted to a tg girl and i put in a little more effort. idk.

neither. porn for me was how i got into liking trans women, but now after nearly 15 years or more, i realise it's just a fantasy. i see trans porn how i see gg porn, just a compartmentalisation of lust/horniness, but not at all representative of real life.

Same here, kind sir...especially after getting to know the girls acting in those films. Many of them are NOT like the persona they present on film. I've made friends with them, but a relationship hasn't been in the cards. The one girl I AM interested in isn't in the industry, so I've gotten to know the real her from the jump.

every now and then....when friends are not free for drinks....and when you are over 35 it appears almost all of your friends are never free for drinks due to wife and kids.....i look at the phone and think...should i restart my OKCupid account...or my bumble account......it's like wanting just that one cigarette

And Porn,it takes the edge off, but not much else.
On a personal note, feel same way about the straight world . Girls can't help it.
So , for me , porn is better.
