I remember many girls being driven away a couple of years ago, and was pm'd this evening by a member who left for that very reason. She told me that it's her impression that many men here don't want girls around.
You know, I've been guilty of saying some things here that two years (or two hours) later I wish I hadn't said. One example: I remember saying that Allanah 'looked scary' once. I meant her expression, but I think it probably offended her, and I regret saying it.
I'm not trying to kiss ass here. I'll more than likely never meet anyone here. But over the years this forum, which I discovered on a porn hunt, has evolved from a place to get pages of pic threads to a place to read and write opinions about sex. And I think it would be better if people acted a little more like they would if we were talking face to face, particularly in terms of not attacking people for their appearance.
I'll tell you what I think it is - it's guys giving back to women whatever they got from someone else, even harsher because it's anonymous and because it's frustrating to deal with relationships in the first place. It's not easy being anybody nowadays. And it's true that it seems like it must be easier being the hot chick sometimes. I've often, without having firsthand experience, felt like for some people here life's a big party and that must be nice for you.
Anyway, assuming more women would be welcome, I'd guess that being a bit more respectful - like you would if you had a girl on here you know reads what you write - would be a good thing. I know this is a porn forum - let's not break out the heartbreak music - but c'mon. Think of some woman you work with that's not pinup material but is cool as hell. Think about how you'd feel if you heard some guy call her a pig or what have you.
I have exchanged quite a few thoughts with a former member here. She's been really cool to me in spite of me saying some things that I now see were pretty ignorant. Plus she's gorgeous. And no, she's not an escort or in porn. But she got treated pretty rough here. If this was a club, and she were my sister, I'd be in some people's face if they said what they said and I was around. That's one thing I really don't get - bagging on someone who looks damn pretty.

I would like to thank my Sisters and the GENTLEMEN, who have responded so far with words of encouragement.

When one makes a post, you never know how it will be perceived on the other end. It is not quite like face to face communication.

That's why when I post I wear asbestos underwear, and a Kevlar bullet proof vest. For the potential flaming and the bullets.

In real life, I have a security detail to keep the 'haters' at bay.


Suckseed, I believe you are right about two things:

1. If this were the real world, this behavior would not be tolerated.

2. Though our approaches, may differ, I believe we are seeking the same goal. Better understanding, respect and harmony between the genders.

Again if this were the real world, and people weren't hiding in cyber space, behind facades, personas, and screen names, they would not dare act in this manner.

If they did the consequences would be dire.

I am not going to get too longwinded with this, but Iwill say, have worked too long and hard to be who I am and, where I am, to accept disrespect.

This goes for my Sisters as well, I can not, nor will I, sit idley by and watch them be dis-respected.
