I know how she feels. I'm in the same boat. I don't go out,I don't have friends. I'm stuck where I'm at too...
The problem is she gave up before even trying.She just accepts it as how it's going to be. My dad told me the same things hers did,but I defied him..I HAD to.
Sure, I still have the same issues but I still try to prove people wrong....

She thinks her ambition was stolen but she doesn't see that she's still here....despite all the shit....she's still going. I'd talk to her but I'm not sure she'd want to hear the truth of it or what it takes...

With all due respect, your first statement disqualifies you from talking with anyone in a depressive state. Most of your comments here involving yourself are negative and depressing so you yourself are in severe need of uplifting. I wish you success but please don't try providing emotional support to depressed people until you yourself kick the habit.

The depressed have to become self-aware first, learn to recognize when an episode is coming on, and proactively take steps to counter which may include changing environment (even if only temporarily) changing diet, and making an effort to be active. What I've observed though is that the WILL to head off the depressive state seems to be missing from some people - I think it becomes a sort of metaphysical blanket that a person can retreat into to wallow in misery. The important thing is to understand yourself and what works for you.

She's looking for help. She has many physical health issues as well, none of which she's shy about posting. She's stopped smoking weed and dealing with the aftereffects of that.

If she gets the help she needs, this could be the beginning of the rise of Sienna Grace.
