I started reading this thread because I was attracted to the illusion that rules would make me competent. If I knew the rules, I could court a transwoman without being a complete dork. I think the reality is that I'm just going to have to make my mistakes and hope for the best.
But thank you for your efforts.

Re: A Few Pro-tips for gaining the attention of TS Models
Upfront, I have never met a model (TS or Otherwise), furthermore, I have never even considered trying to date a TS Model, so my knowledge is based solely on my interactions with average everyday females, dating, getting engaged to and marrying (my Wife is transgender)
Clearly your tips are common sense, especially in the guise of meeting a model, but tip five especially seems to be geared towards a “fan” meeting a model, which is where I start to wonder and what bring me to my question, would tip five apply if say a man met a woman (who happened to be a transgender model) in their everyday normal lives, with their legal name (not their stage name) at say a bar/restaurant and not in the roll of “fan” and transgender model”?
To my brain, there is little to no chance that a “Fan” and TS model have any chance of a relationship outside of TS Model and Fan, likewise though maybe there is slightly better chance of a “customer” and a working girl being anything more than a “working girl” and a customer. Again, this is just my way of thinking but the best chance of a good outcome would be if a man met a woman (who happened to be a TS Model as an example) in their normal everyday lives, not in their professional role as a TS Model. It seems that in the role of TS Model and “fan” the relationship is not on level playing field before it starts and there is really no way to better the odds, thus the showering the model with gifts, while nice (and beneficial to the TS model), is essentially throwing money out the window as it really will not make a major difference, the TS Model sees the man as a “fan” first and I do not see a chance of conversion to true boyfriend as possible. Added to that, how would a first date work? The “fan” would not know the TS Models real name and it seems sort of silly to address that person by their stage name. The entire relationship is started off predicated on a fantasy and money which seems (again to me) as a bad way to start any relationship.
Having said that, if the “fan” is okay just getting personal attention from the model in the form of date like activities, I could see where showering of gifts is beneficial as it helps him rise above the noise of everyone else out there vying for the model’s attention.
As a side note, I am always amazed by my fellow men of this world, so many drops huge amount of money on say strippers (I know two men who do just that) in the hopes that their dancer will consider taking up a romantic relationship with them, even though the chance of that is slim to none, in fact the two men I know of personally do not even know the stripper’s real name, it is all fantasy but that fantasy has a high price tag attached. Amazingly, one of the strippers in question has been milking this guy for over 9 years, he has paid for her breast augmentation, a down payment on a car and many others things, it just blows my mind as I would never believe that the relationship was/is anything more than exotic dancer and customer, especially if it never progressed to knowing the dancers real name.
Again, I am not trying to disparage Ms. Summers nor cast aspersions on her advice, I am just trying to better understand her advice as a learning exercise if nothing else.

Re: A Few Pro-tips for gaining the attention of TS Models
Miss Summers has porn to sell. This is marketing. The thing you said about fans and models. She seems very nice, even adorable, but we're fans and she makes her living selling porn.
We're lucky to have people like her and Nika posting on the forum. They differentiate their porn by showing us an aspect of their personalities. Their personalities make the forum a lot more interesting.
As you said, we can raise above the noise by spending money. But this:
"Once you get her hooked, you can ween her off the gifts."
I've never seen that happen.
