It pains me to do this but communism was not the cause of antisemitism. If it were, then there would not have been antisemitism before communism.

Also, if it were the cause of the Nazi persecution of Jews only Communists would have been killed, and Jews would have been killed only in the proportion they were communists. They might have even called the program to kill them the Final Solution to the Communist Question.

Post-script-Communism is something fairly specific. It involves collective ownership of property. It does not mean that making collective judgments about ethnic groups is Communism. In fact, the group you go soft on, the Nazis did this.

The transition is not the same for most transgendered people, and has more to do with their individual psychology than ideas about or grievances with equality. And where is the inequality if they begin their transition in a loving home?

My mother went to evening classes in carpentry and loved every minute of it, my father struggled to change a light-bulb. Gender equality was never about housework or baking, but the right to be treated equally as a person. Marx believed communism would be the outcome of class struggle, ending it to create an ultimate reality in which private property would not exist, and individuals would live in a society without war, the state, taxes and religion -more or less the ideal society that Ayn Rand wanted to live in but without her malignant view of the human race as composed of an excess of 'unnecessary' people. Marx believed he was proposing in material terms what Hegel attempted to establish as the growth of consciousness from nothing to 'absolute being' which seems close to a Buddhist idea of what Nirvana might be. How one gets from a socialist revolution to communism has never been explained, with the attempts made so far, in China and the USSR proving to be a disaster, though it would take too long to explain why socialism was never implemented in these two countries, which became prisons of nationalist hysteria. It may never happen. Or if something like it does, it will probably not resemble anything Marx had in mind, for he was an remains a 19th century thinker, who made some contribution to modern economics and had some interesting ideas about work and social relations at work, but is in too many areas flawed to have much lasting impact on the future.
