On Monday Dec. 5th 2016 Ada Black was shot in the abdomen at close range with a handgun by an obsessed fan.

Ada suffered extensive damage to her liver, kidney and gall bladder as well as deep glass cuts along her arms as she had to break through a window in order to get help from neigbors.

Although she is making progress, it's been slow going. The good news is that her attacker has been caught but as she was uninsured at the time of her attack, she has been left with great financial strain. Many of her hospital expenses are being taken care of through state/county crime victim programs, but she is far from being in the clear.

We are trying to raise $5000 that will help her pay for the following:

* Relocation into a new apartment
* Pet care & deposits
* Prescriptions once she's been discharged
* Back rent due to loss of work
* Medical supplies for her wounds during home care
* Lawyer fees
* Therapy expenses for PTSD
* Groceries/living expenses while she is unable to work
