Re: Westworld
Awesome.
Maybe too slow in the beginning and too esoteric to be a hit for the masses?
Build a man a fire, he's warm for a day.
Light a man on fire, he's warm for the rest of his life.

Re: Westworld
I thought the show was great and I mean oh wow, I want to see how crazy Arnold's game really is. This statement will not spoil it for you at all if you have not seen the show and it will make no sense till you completed the show so I will say no more.

Re: Westworld
The cliff hanger wow! (can't say too much obviously but wow). The Man in black looked so fucking happy though and was it ford or not. Have to wait a f@cking year to find out now.

Re: Westworld
I enjoyed it immensely and I enjoyed the original Westworld movie as well. Michael Crichton has always been one of my favorite authors. I thought Ed Harris was amazing as the man in black. He makes a great cowboy even though he's 67. There were some plot holes, but nothing too major. My one question is why did Maeve get off the train at the end? Why go back? To be the leader?
My girlfriend had a funny comment. She said that this is the REAL beginning of the Terminator movies. haha #skynet

Re: Westworld
Methinks Ford isn't dead, and the body at the end was a clone.....
I also think Arnold isn't dead either, and is pulling everyone's chain.....

Re: Westworld
There is a few character motivation questions regarding Dr. Ford which kind of felt like plot holes. It's one of those shows you don't want to discuss, because for those who didn't see it you don't want to ruin it. There is West World and it's sequel Future World. The big thing that stood out was in the cooler area was the Globe similar to the original Westworld Movie. It makes you wonder if the original was somewhere part of the timeline. They Had SW symbol, but they could be just different theme parks in different countries. I wonder who they will incorporate elements of Futureworld (which they kind of hinted) into the show for the second season.

Re: Westworld
I rewatched Futureworld a few weeks ago. Truly a wretched, horrible film.
