Is Craigslist the New Trannie Bar? Affecting TS Escorts
:)
Was cold and rainy the other day, so decided out of boredom to peek on local CL to see what all the furore is about.
Searching around a bit, it did seem CL is cracking down on escort adverts, at least for trannies. Ads that are up for only an hour or so the most are quickly flagged to be removed.
As for the "M4TS", it was all the usual suspects and then, indeed it confirms much of the worst one has heard and thought about where the trannie community is heading.
Pages, and pages of adverts looking for "casual encounter" or "leaving work in 10 minutes, and want to stop off on way home from work". Or the ever popular "cannot host" or "married but seeking a TS for long term "casual" affair". In general the gist of 97% of the adverts was men looking to meet a "real" TS, but only for casual, no-strings attached sexual relationships. Even when men state they are looking for a "passable" TS and are interested in doing other things, the main idea is sex and anything else is a maybe. Sort of like the old days when a guy would take a trannie out, but only to places he is sure none of his friends or family would see him.
And then there are the pictures.
On the one hand it was nice to see so many young, well built, physically attractive men "into" trannies. But picture after picture it was the same thing, snaps of the poster's tackle and or ass. This seems common as it happens enough on Gay.com and many other trannie personal advert sites. But what is up with that?
Not nearly as many St8 men made such posts in their adverts looking for GGs, nor indeed did gay males looking for others gay males; though the later has a slightly higher percentage of such snaps than the former.
So it seems now instead of going out to a trannie bar, men are content to "order" in as it were via Internet.
What struck one as odd, if not hypocritical, was the vast number of men seeking a trannie who was not an escort, but what they wanted basically was the services of a ho, without paying. That is sex upon demand, but with no funds exchanged.
Is trannie escorting is to be replaced by booty-calls or friends with benefits? Judging from some of the adverts, many guys aren't happy with the responses, which seem to come mainly from TV's or non-passing drag queens. My guess is these men want a hot looking trannine on the cheap, and are surprised none are taking them up on their offers.
IMHO, the scene really hasn't changed that much if this is any indication. Sure there are more men into trannnies, and they are younger and perhaps better looking (no offence guys), but the result is the same as when one went to Edelweiss or any other trannie bar, guys looking for a hook-up, and will go with the hottest but least costly route.
